Tamron 16-300mm f/3.5-6.3 Review part 1

Article text
I just bought the Tamron 16-300mm as a light travel lens. According to online reviews it's not top of the line, but not bad either, especially considering the huge zoom range. Time to do some rigorous testing of my own. In this first part, I'm testing the lens at the long end of its zoomrange. We had a clear moon yesterday evening, perfect to push the lens to its limits. All images were taken with the Nikon D7000, mounted on a tripod, remotely triggered in mirror-up mode and at ISO100.
First image, wide open (which is f/6.3 at 300mm).
